Hello followers. First Merry Christmas of course as we get near to the Christian celebration of Christmas. And I guess I'm supposed to say happy new year? Well I guess that's all for the holidays and time to get back to work. So as we near the end of the year I am going to be changing the main focus of my psychology study and as I have been studying the history, structure, and facts on psychology, while staying on the topic of psychology, I will be doing how the brain works, how psychology effects the brain, and how behavior, mood, etc. effect/are used in psychology practices.
At the end of this year I'm going to have all the information I was looking for and also I'm going to start thinking about what's going on at the end of the year for my end product. What should it be: Sit down with Dr. Jimmy Silveira (as a psychologist) or should I make a psychology quiz? Well besides that, which is in months so I'll worry about it later, time to talk about what's going on right now.
Recently I have been doing some closing up research for my current focus so i can have a smooth change from my current focus to the next. I have learned much from my books such as 3 of my 16 branches of psychology: psychodynamic, humanistic, and evolutionary. Also I have found some big steps in evolving psychology like how in 1879 Wilhelm Wundt established the first psychology laboratory at the University of Leipzig. Wundt’s work forms the basis for experimental psychology. (structuralism). A very good amount of online sites and research such as http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/10/18/20-psychological-studies-_n_4098779.html, and https://www.psychologytoday.com/. I have my soon to come interview with a psychologist and I have also been adding what psychologists do to my research list. I know that anyone that looks at my blog and knows a lot about psychology is going to be offended but I am now finding out who Sigmund Freud is.
I have been looking around when I go on the street to try and find/see any psychology buildings or any psychologist offices but I don't have much luck. I try to look at these big people like Wang Qiren, Sigmund Freud, and William Wundt. One last thing quick is a little Psychology history with Sigmund Freud: In the 1890s, Hugo Münsterberg began writing about the application of psychology to industry, law, and other fields. Lightner Witmer established the first psychological clinic in the 1890s. James McKeen Cattell adapted Francis Galton's anthropometric methods to generate the first program of mental testing in the 1890s. In Vienna, meanwhile, Sigmund Freud developed an independent approach to the study of the mind called psychoanalysis, which has been widely influential.
